Based in Leeds, a vibrant creative hub surrounded by Yorkshire’s inspirational natural beauty, Twice Fired designs and produces exquisite handmade glass art. Featured by the Contemporary Glass Society and showcased at the British Craft Trade Fair, its work ranges from fused glass art to jewellery, homeware, and giftware.
Twice Fired hosts glass art classes and workshops at its studio and galleries like The Hepworth Wakefield, sharing a love for this captivating material. Inspired by nature, its designs reflect delicate seedpods, iridescent beetles, and elegant bird formations, capturing intricate textures and tones that reveal hidden beauty as light changes.
Using the finest hand-rolled kiln glass, each piece is meticulously cut, assembled, fused, and cold-worked to create unique designs. Driven by experimentation with firing processes, Twice Fired constantly discovers fresh designs and effects.
Committed to sustainability, the studio operates a zero-waste policy, repurposing every scrap of glass into new creations, from frit balls to decorative elements, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
