Kelly’s Story

Kelleco is a tribute to Kelly, the late wife of our co-founder, Simon - a vibrant soul whose passion for life, eco-conscious values, and resilience inspired a marketplace that promotes sustainability and supports meaningful causes.

Kelly’s Journey

1995: Simon met Kelly, a whirlwind of energy with a positive outlook and a childish sense of fun.

2009-2011: Celebrated the birth of our daughter (2009) and son (2011), building a life of adventures.

2013: Kelly was diagnosed with breast cancer, followed by chemotherapy and surgeries.

2014: Kelly was declared cancer-free, a moment of immense joy.

2016: Kelly experienced hip pain while running the Brighton Marathon.

2017: We received the devastating news of incurable cancer.

Sustainability

Promoting eco-friendly, vegan, and ethically sourced products.

Charity

Donating 5% of every sale to a charity chosen by the seller.

Community

Building a network of like-minded sellers and buyers for positive impact.

Kelly’s Legacy

Eco-Conscious Living:
Kelly embraced an organic, plant-based lifestyle, advocating for sustainability and ethical choices.

She competed in triathlons in 2018 and 2019, inspiring others with her resilience.

Fundraising Impact:
Kelly raised thousands for cancer charities through her dedication.

Lasting Inspiration:
Until her passing on June 30, 2020, Kelly lived with positivity and selflessness.
