Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul. Our bee hangers are made with Amber , Sunshine yellow and slate grey bullseye glass. After being fired for 24hrs, we screen print by hand our illustrations of the bees with enamel. When this is dry we carful paint the bee with gold lustre. The glass is then returned to the kiln for a further 24hrs to be slumped ( take shape) over a mould. These create amazing reflections on a sunny window sill and the light brings the design to life. Our handmade glass homeware pieces make lovely gifts. They are all handmade in our Twice Fired glass studio in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
