My name is Richard and I'm a self-taught wood turner who has been crafting beautiful objects from local timber for more than three decades. Back in 2011 I moved to the beautiful village of Clovelly, a historic fishing community on the North Devon Coast - and I soon realised that this wooded valley would make the perfect home for my business.
Using only locally sourced timber means that my products are as eco-friendly as possible. Each piece of timber has been air dried for at least two years and finished using food-safe oils and beeswax.
