They look great as a throw on the sofa that doubles as a warm blanket, these are a little more delicate and may shed a little...NOT for heavy handling or heavy footfall These are lovingly made from the shared fleece of these beautiful beings. These can be used as cat beds, or a seat pad, a nice piece of decoration or we also use as a knee warmer when sat on the sofa...so many uses and the best part...its made with NO skin, just luff n fluff Each rug is carefully sheared, we handpick any dirt and vm from the fleece. Then it is hand felted which is very labour intensive, then finally it is washed over and over again. A true labour of love. The shape of the rugs is how it has come off the ewe and often there are raddle (dye markings) where the sheep has been colour marked, all giving it a very real authentic look.
