I'm Sally, founder of Rochester Wick Company, started in April 2021 during my maternity leave. Inspired by my love of scented candles, I began crafting with soy wax, enjoying its unique challenges and I'm excited to share this journey!

Burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Always light your candle away from drafts or fans as this can cause rapid/ uneven burning and sooting (black marks on the jar) First burn is the most important burn. First burn should be roughly 1-2 hours or until the pool of wax reach the edges of the jar. Burning for less time can cause the candle to 'tunnel', this will leave a build up of wax around the jars sides and can reduce the approximate burn time. Do not burn for longer then 4 hours at a time. Burning for longer periods (over 4 hours) can cause the wick to move. Never leave a candle unattended.
