About Idlewild Animal Sanctuary

A safe haven for unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals
Established in 2015, Idlewild Animal Sanctuary is a registered charity dedicated to providing care for a variety of animals, including wild, exotic, domestic, and farm animals and birds. Our mission involves rescuing, rehabilitating, releasing, and re-homing animals in need, as well as offering a safe haven for those requiring lifelong care. Additionally, we serve as a therapeutic and educational resource, working with individuals to promote health and well-being. Currently, we are supported by a dedicated team of over 50 volunteers, many of whom are neurodivergent.
